Below are introductions about the charities we support as a church, and a bit about the outreach work we do in local schools.
Local schools
We recognise the importance of connecting and supporting local primary schools; sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with pupils through school assemblies and the distribution of Bibles.
Barnabas Fund
The main ministry of Barnabas Fund is to send financial support to projects which help Christians where they suffer discrimination, oppression, and persecution as a consequence of their faith. The projects aim to strengthen Christian individuals, churches, and their communities by providing material and spiritual support in response to needs identified by local Christian leaders.
Blythswood Care
Blythswood is a Christian charity, with a mission to transform lives through the impact of education and gospel activities. The annual ‘Shoe Box’ appeal brings joy to communities in Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Romania Serbia and Ukraine.
Christian Compassion Ministries
CCM is a Ministry of Cubao Reformed Baptist Church seeking to share and show Christ’s love amongst Manila’s poorest people by helping and witnessing to children and families in the slums and on the streets, providing a safe Christian home for children who have been abused or neglected and a weekly meal and Gospel talk for homeless people.
Christian Institute
The Christian Institute exists for the furtherance and promotion of the Christian religion in the United Kingdom and elsewhere. It is a nondenominational Christian charity committed to upholding the truths of the Bible. Believing that the Bible is the supreme authority for all of life and holding to the inerrancy of Scripture.
Christian Values in Education
The aim of CViE is to equip children, young people, parents and teachers with relevant and timely information that will help them to stand up for their beliefs in our secular age, by publishing articles, blogs and other media tackling issues from a biblical perspective. Also by holding national and regional conferences and seminars on important topical issues.
Gospel Standard Bethesda Homes
Residential homes for those over 65 years of age who have been attendees of a Gospel Standard church.
GS Poor Relief Aid Society
GS Poor Relief Aid Society provides financial assistance to those in need associated with the Gospel Standard chapels.
Lovewise
Lovewise is a charity which seeks to help parents, youth groups and schools by providing presentations on the subjects of marriage, sex and relationships from a Christian perspective.
Mombasa Mission
In looking to God to provide the Mombasa Mission is building and setting up local churches, teaching the Bible to all who desire to learn, building and setting up a school for orphans in the Mwangulu area and providing basic medical aid to those in need.
Savannah Education Trust
The Savannah Education Trust provides an education for some of the poorest children in West Africa through the provision of Christian schools in northern Ghana. In communities as poor as these, the purpose of education is not necessarily to improve job opportunities but (over time) to improve the quality of life.
Trinitarian Bible Society
The Trinitarian Bible Society was founded in 1831 with the principal aim of promoting the glory of God and the increase of His Kingdom through the circulation of Protestant or uncorrupted versions of the Word of God. Today, they still carry forward that vision, which is so well expressed in their motto, ‘The Word of God Among All Nations’.
Zambian Education and Medical Support
Zambian Education and Medical Support was set up in June 2015 to support various Christian projects in Zambia. The aim is to provide financial support to local organisations which are involved in Christian Community work on the ground, providing access to basic health care, education, and nutrition; and to spread the ‘Good News’ of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a very practical way.
